Yemen army repels infiltration of militia in Taiz

TAIZ, Sept. 4 (YPA) – The Yemeni army and popular committees on Tuesday replled an infiltration attempt of the coalition-backed militia in Yemen’s Taiz province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

Dozens of the militia were killed and injured during their failed attempt to infiltrate towards Hifan district, the official said.

The Saudi-led coalition warplanes launched series of air strikes to back its militia, but without making any progress on the ground, the official added.
