Report: Army attacks Saudi troops in battlefronts over 24 hour
SANAA, Feb. 18 (YPA) – The army has attacked Saudi troops and its militias in battlefronts on Saturday, inflicting them heavy losses, according to military reports combined by Yemen Press Agency on Sunday.
- In the border province of Jizan:
Artillery shelling targeted gatherings of Saudi soldiers in Qamer village and Maqrin site.
A Saudi-backed militias’ tank was destroyed by a guided missile in Randha site, killing all its crew.
- In Najran border province:
Gatherings of militias were shelled by artillery east of Ajasher site, ambulances were seen rushing to the targeted site.
- In Taiz province:
Dozens of militias were killed and injured when the army carried out two offensive operations from two sides on the militias’ sites in western coast front.
An infiltration was foiled toward the army’s site In Osaifirah district, killing and wounding dozens.
Artillery shelling targeted militias’ gatherings and fortifications in Osaifirah.
Two of Saudi-paid mercenaries were gunned down.
- In Hajjah province:
Militias’ gatherings were targeted by artillery north of Medi desert.
- In Lahj province:
A militias’ infiltration was repelled in Qubaida district, killing and wounding dozens.
- In Marib province:
Eight of Saudi-backed militias were shot dead in several areas of Serwah district.
