Sultan Qaboos directs new facilities for Yemenis

SANAA, Sep. 3 (YPA) – Sultan of the Sultanate of Oman, Qaboos bin Sa’id, has given new facilities to the Yemenis through the border shipping port.
Student sources said that more than 132 Yemeni students crossed the border crossing point with Oman under the direction of Sultan Qaboos.
The General Union of Yemeni Students in China said that Sultan Qaboos facilitated the entry of Yemeni students to study outside their home country through the border shipping port.
The union explained that as a result of these directives, 132 students crossed the port at once.
In its statement, the Union praised Oman’s orders and directives, which ended much of the suffering of the students and allowed the incoming Yemeni students to enter through the shipping port unhindered.
The Union expressed its hope that the facilitation guidelines would continue and facilitate all transit and clearance procedures within the territory of the Sultanate of Oman.
