Four girls drowned to death in Mahwait

MAHWAIT, Sep. 2 (YPA) – Four girls died as they drowned in a dam in Mahwait governorate on Sunday, officials said.

They said the girls, aged between 11-17, were taking care of sheep  when one of them fell in the dam and the others tried to help her, in which all eventually drowned to death.

Children witnessed the incident but could not do a help because they cannot swim, said the officials.
