President meets Governor of Sanaa

SANAA, Aug. 30 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council, Mehdi al-Mashat, on Thursday met with Sanaa governor Haneen Qutaina.

During the meeting, the officials discussed the situation in the governorate, the level of service and development performance and the efforts of local authorities and executive offices in improving the level of services provided to citizens and overcoming the challenges imposed by the aggression and siege.
The meeting also touched on the efforts of the provincial leadership, the local authority and the concerned offices in improving and developing revenue collection, as well as the aspects related to the continuous mobilization to strengthen the fronts with men and equipment.
President praised the efforts of the leadership of the province and the local authority and provincial offices of the province in order to improve performance and revenue growth during the past period.
President stressed the importance of exerting more efforts to meet the aspirations of citizens to maintain projects and services within available resources.
President also stressed the support of the Supreme Political Council for the plans and programs of the provincial leadership and the local authority to overcome the current difficulties.
In his part, Qatina touched on the progress of the governorate and the difficulties it faces due to the current situation, pointing to the governorate plans for the next phase as well as the successes achieved in the service and development side.
