President al-Mashat stresses significant role of Shura Council

SANAA, Aug. 27 (YPA) – President Mahdi al-Mashat on Monday emphasized the important role of the Shura Council in providing visions and proposals on the different economic, social and political issues.

During his meeting with the acting speaker of the Shura Council, Mohammed al-Aidarous, the president urged the integration and coordination between the executive and legislative authorities in line with the current challenges and the aggression and siege imposed on the homeland.

The meeting touched on the aspects related to strengthening the steadfastness in the face of the aggression and the economic, developmental, social and humanities challenges it has left.

It also dealt with the achievements of the Shura Council during the past period and its future plans and programs, as well as the difficulties facing the council’s work.
