Report: 4 civilians killed in 21 Saudi-led airstrikes, ground attacks over 24 hours

SANAA, Aug. 26 (YPA) – At least four civilians were killed, mostly women, and four injured, including two children, when the US-backed Saudi-led coalition launched 21 airstrikes and ground attacks on several areas of Yemen’s provinces during the past 24 hours, according to reports combined by Yemen Press Agency on Sunday.

  • In Saada province:

A woman was killed in an airstrike on Bani-Sayah area of RAzih district.

Three children were injured in two airstrikes on Hafwz area of Haidan district.

An airstrike hit Riqa school in Haidan.

Three airstrikes were waged on Fard area of Kutaf district.

An airstrike on Sawh area of Kutaf.

Two airstrikes on Dhaia’a area of Shada district.

Three airstrikes on residential areas of Dhaher district.

Meanwhile, missile and artillery shells were fired toward civilians’ properties in Shada and Dhaher districts.

  • In Taiz province:

Two civilians were injured by the fires of militiamen in Arsum area of Salah district.

  • In Hajjah province:

Two woman and a civilian were killed in an artillery shelling on their home in Shea’b area of Haradh district.

Meanwhile, an airstrike targeted a civilian’s car in Mostaba district.

Three airstrikes was launched on Hairan district.

Four airstrikes on Mazraq area of Haradh district.

  • In Sanaa province:

An airstrike hit a home of Shaikh, Naif Al-a’awaj, in Bani-Fras area of Nehm district.

  • In border province of Jizan:

Three Saudi-led coalition airstrikes hit Jara valley.
