Report: Army inflicts coalition militiamen’s heavy casualties in battle fronts over 24 hours

SANAA, Aug. 23 (YPA) – The Yemeni army waged an attack against sites of Saudi-led coalition and its militiamen in several battle front over the past hours, leaving heavy casualties, a military official told Yemen Press Agency on Thursday.

In border province of Asir, the army waged an offensive on sites of the Saudi soldiers in Auraf mountain, killing and wounding dozens.

In Najran province, the army attacked and retook over several of the coalition’s sites of al-Fara area and Hadhanah village.

In Marib province, two military vehicles of the coalition militiamen were destroyed and their crew members were killed in Serwah district.

In also Marib, several of the militiamen were killed and injured in the army’s attack on sites of al-Sawd hilltops.

In Jawf province, the army carried out assault against sites of the militiamen in al-Haijah area of Maslub district, leaving heavy losses.

In the western coast front, a number of the militiamen were killed and other wounded  when the army fired a RPG rocket on their groups in Hais area.
