Report: Army wages attacks against coalition militiamen in battle fronts over 24 hours

SANAA, Aug. 22 (YPA) – The Yemeni army launched an assault against sites and groups of the Saudi-led coalition militiamen in the battle fronts over the past 24 hours, slaying and injuring tens, a military official told Yemen Press Agency on Wednesday.

In border province of Jizan, the army fired a ballistic missile, Badr 1, towards al-Mustahdath camp of the Saudi army.

In also Jizan, dozens of Sudanese were killed and wounded, two spy planes of the Saudi army were shot down by the army and popular forces in al-Dud mountain.

In border province of Asir, the army fired artillery towards the mercenaries off Alib crossing point, hitting the target directly.

In Najran province, the army hit the coalition’s military groups in sites of al-Sawah, Buqa and al-Khadra crossing.

In the western coast front, the army fired a short-range ballistic missile towards the Saudi-led coalition’s headquarters in the western coast, and carried out attack on the mercenaries in al-Tuhaytah area, killing and wounding scores of the militiamen.

Bayda province, the army hit groups of the militiamen’s gatherings in Nata area, killing and wounding dozens.

In Lahj province, tens of the militiamen were killing and injuring, and a military vehicles was destroyed when the army foiled two infiltration attempts towards in Karash and Qabitah areas.

In according to the official, the army waged an attack against sites of the militiamen in western al-Salan camp in Jawf province, causing heavy losses.
