JIZAN, Aug. 21 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Tuesday fired a ballistic missile towards Jizan province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
The missile, Badr 1, hit the al-Mustahdath camp accurately.
The army stepped up the missile attacks on the Saudi military and vital targets due to the crimes and violations committed by the Saudi-led coalition warplanes against the Yemeni citizens, the official added.
Since March 26, 2015, the Saudi-led coalition have intervened in Yemen’s sovereignty and internal affairs, and waged a military operating against the Yemeni army and people in flagrant violations of the international conventions.
The four-year-old coalition war on Yemen has killed over 15,000 Yemenis, mostly women and children, displaced more than 5 million, according to the United Nations.
