Report: Civilian killed in 52 Saudi-led airstrikes, ground attacks over 24 hours
SANAA, Aug. 19 (YPA) – A civilian was killed and four others, including a child, were injured when the US-backed Saudi-led coalition launched 52 airstrikes and ground attacks on several provinces of Yemen during the past 24 hours, according to reports combined by Yemen Press Agency on Sunday.
• In Saada province:
A civilian was killed and three were injured in artillery and missile shelling on Shada border district.
Missile and artillery shells targeted civilians’ homes in Baqem district.
A child was injured by bombs explosion in residential areas of Razih district.
Meanwhile, six airstrikes hit several areas of Dhahir district.
An airstrike was waged on a main road between Shada and Eazih districts.
Three airstrikes on Baqem district.
• In Sanaa province:
11 airstrikes hit Ghurza village of HAmdan district, causing damage to residents’ properties.
14 airstrikes were waged on Sama’a camp and Farija in Arhab district.
An airstrike on Bit-Shamlan of Arhab.
Two airstrikes on Majawaha area of Nehm district.
• In Hodeidah province:
Eight airstrikes hit Jah area of Bit-Faqih district.
• In Amran province:
Four airstrikes were waged on Masluq mount of Harf-Sufian district.
• In border province of Asir:
Two Saudi-led airstrikes hit Rabo’ah city.
