Supreme Political Council extends term of President al-Mashat

SANAA, Aug. 15 (YPA) – The Supreme Political Council on Wednesday approved to extend the term of the President Mahdi al-Mashat for a new session beginning on August 24 according to the council’s internal regulations.

In the meeting chaired by the president al-Mashat, the council’s members confirmed their support to the president to achieve the success in doing his national duties.

President al-Mashat was appointed by the Supreme Political Council as the council’s president to replace the martyr President Saleh al-Smmad on April 21, 2018.
