Coalition prevents ambulance access, after committing massacre in Hodeidah

HODEIDAH, Aug. 14 (YPA) – The Saudi-led coalition forces on Tuesday prevented ambulances from reaching the wounded children and women in al-Durihemi district of Hodeidah province, according to the Ministry of the Public Health and Population.

“The US-Saudi coalition’s battleships waged a random missile bombardment on the district, which resulted in a horrific massacre among civilians, including children and women,” said the ministry in a statement.

The statement noted that the continuous rocketry bombing prevented ambulances from reaching the wounded people.

The ministry called on the International Committee of the Red Cross and the World Health Organization to take responsibility for what is taking place in al-Durihemi, and to move quickly to transfer the wounded to hospitals in the city of Hodeidah.

On Monday, five member of one family, including 3 children, were killed in a Saudi-led air strike on al-Ashraf area in Hodeidah province.
