Dozens of militiamen killed, 2 vehicles destroyed in border fronts

SANAA, Aug. 12 (YPA) – Dozens of Saudi-backed militiamen were killed and two military vehicles were destroyed by the fires of Yemen army in fronts of Najran, Asir, Jizan and Hajjah, a military official told Yemen Press Agency on Sunday.

In Najran, engineering unit of the army destroyed a military vehicle by an explosive device in Boqea border crossing , killing 10 of the militiamen who were on board.

Also in Najran, the army carried out an ambush in Boqea area, destroying a military vehicle, killing and wounding all its crew.

Three of the militiamen were killed in an explosive device bombed in front of Athiaq near Boqea desert, as well as artillery force of the army shelled gatherings of Saudi soldiers in Raqabat Marash and Manara of Najran.

In Asir, artillery and missile shells targeted gatherings of militiamen in front of Alb border crossing.

In Jizan, artillery shelling targeted gatherings of Saudi soldiers in Jabari site, Sawda and Hamiah centers.

In Hajjah, artillery force shelled gatherings of militiamen in Medi desert and nort of Nar mount of Haradh, causing direct casualties.
