Israeli strikes, artillery shelling hit several areas in southern Lebanon

BEIRUT, Oct. 20 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces carried out airstrikes, drone attacks and artillery shelling across southern Lebanon on Tuesday, Lebanese media reported.

Lebanon’s official National News Agency (NNA) said that the attacks targeted areas across Nabatieh, Bint Jbeil, Marjayoun and Tyre districts.

Israeli warplanes struck Wadi al-Hujair, while an Israeli quadcopter drone fired a projectile at the roof of a previously targeted building in the al-Rajm neighborhood of Mayfadoun, the agency added.

The outskirts of Mayfadoun also came under intermittent Israeli shelling.

In Bint Jbeil district, Israeli artillery targeted the town of Haddatha.

Further east, Israeli warplanes carried out two waves of strikes near Tallouseh in Marjayoun district, while troops conducted two powerful detonations in the nearby town of Qantara.

In Tyre district, Israeli artillery shelled the town of Mansouri and its surrounding valley.
