Lahj governor urges tribesmen to avoid fighting for Saudi-backed mobilizations
SANAA, Oct. 20 (YPA) – Ahmed Jarib, the governor of Lahj appointed by the Sanaa government, called on Monday upon the tribesmen of Al-Sabaiha and all residents of the governorate not to fight within the ranks of Saudi-backed mobilizations, citing what he described as the Saudi regime’s crimes and injustice against the Yemeni people.
In a press statement, Jarib asserted that the Saudi regime “cheapens Yemeni blood” by gathering Yemeni recruits in military camps that it knows in advance are targets for Sanaa forces.
He pointed out that the operations carried out by Sanaa forces target the Saudi military presence and its mobilizations, and do not target the sons of any governorate, region, or tribe in any way.
