SANAA, Aug. 11 (YPA) – Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, along with Deputy Prime Minister for Services Affairs, Mahmoud Al-Junaid and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Dr. Hussein Maqboli, visited on Saturday the tomb of President Saleh al-Sammad and his colleagues in al-Sabeen Square in the capital Sanaa.
The visit came on the occasion of passage of one hundred days from the martyrdom of President al-Sammad and his companions in Hodeidah province.
During the visit, the prime minister and his two deputies placed a wreath of flowers on the shrine and read Al-Fatihah in honor of the spirit of the martyr and his companions.
They praised the wise approach of the martyr and his great efforts in promoting the national steadfastness and the cohesion of the internal front in the face of the Saudi-led coalition aggression, as well as his remarkable work in preserving the institutional structure of the state.
The president al-Sammad was killed along with six of his escorts on April 21 after his convoy was attacked by the coalition aircraft, while carrying out his national duty in Hodeidah province.
