Child killed, elderly man injured in shelling of Taiz homes

TAIZ, Oct. 12 (YPA) – A girl was killed and an elderly man injured on Monday when Saudi-backed military forces shelled civilian homes in Al-Sharafi village, Hisban Al-A’la area, in Saber Al-Mawadim district of Taiz province.

Earlier, the Ministry of Health and Environment announced that 16 civilians, including five children and a woman, had been killed or injured in Saudi airstrikes targeting the government complex and a civilian’s home in Khab wa Al-Sha’af district of Jawf province.

The preliminary toll stood at nine killed and seven injured.
