Saudi fighter jets conduct 12 airstrikes on Yemen provinces

SANAA, Sept. 30 (YPA) – Saudi fighter jets continued targeting civilians and service facilities in Yemen, carrying out 12 airstrikes on Wednesday across Hodeida, Saada and Amran provinces.

Security sources reported that Saudi aircraft carried out four strikes on the telecommunications network at Mount Dhin in Ayal Suraih District of, two others on the telecommunications network at Mount Qarn Al-Ajam in Raydah district, and two strikes on Harf Sufyan district in Amran.

The sources added that Saudi warplanes also carried out three strikes on the telecommunications network in Sahar district of Saada, and one strike on civilians’ farms in Al-Shajan village in Al-Durayhimi district of Hodeida.

Earlier in the day, Saudi aircraft carried out nine strikes on separate areas of Al-Wazi’iyah district of Taiz, while Maran district in Saada came under Saudi missile fire.

On Tuesday, Saudi warplanes also launched over 35 airstrikes on Yemen, targeting civilian infrastructure, including telecommunications networks and schools, in Taiz, Jawf, Amran, Saada and Hodeida provinces.

According to the sources, Saudi attacks on Yemen since the escalation began have exceeded 1,170 air and missile strikes, leaving dozens of civilians killed or wounded and causing extensive damage to civilian property and service facilities.
