Hundreds of settlers desecrate Al-Aqsa on fifth day of Jewish holiday of Sukkot

OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, Sept. 30 (YPA) – Hundreds of settlers desecrated the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, on Wednesday, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police, on the fifth day of the Jewish holiday of Sukkot.

Palestinian sources reported that about 500 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa, led by former Knesset member Moshe Feiglin, and performed the rituals of the Four Categories while carrying what are known as plant offerings.

On Tuesday, 966 settlers stormed the mosque from the Mughrabi Gate under heavy protection, and performed Talmudic rituals and prayers, chanted group songs, and clapped inside its courtyards.

The courtyards of Al-Aqsa have witnessed an escalation in incursions since the start of the Jewish holidays, under heavy protection from the occupation police, coinciding with military measures in the city of Jerusalem.
