HADRAMOUT, Sept. 16 (YPA) – Four members of the Saudi-backed “Dera Al-Watan” forces were killed and injured on Wednesday in an armed ambush in Hadramout governorate, eastern Yemen.
A knowledgeable local source in the governorate stated that “unidentified gunmen targeted a military vehicle belonging to the forces with an improvised explosive device (IED) in the ‘Khashm al-Ain’ area of Al-Abr district, killing one element and injuring three others.”
The source did not name the party behind the attack, which comes amid widespread demands from the Hadhrami public to end the Saudi guardianship and ensure the departure of all loyalist forces from the coastal and valley districts of Hadramout.
