Sanaa forces shoot down second Saudi drone over Marib within hours

MARIB, Sept. 16 (YPA) – Yemen’s Sanaa-based air defenses on Wednesday shot down a Saudi Wing Loong II armed reconnaissance drone over the Marib province.

According to a statement by Sanaa forces spokesman Brig. Gen. Yahya Sarie on X, the drone was targeted while it was carrying out hostile activities over Marib province,

Earlier on Wednesday, Sanaa forces announced that they had shot down an F-15 aircraft while it was carrying out what they described as hostile activities in support of Saudi military buildups in Marib province.

Sanaa’s war media earlier released footage purportedly showing the moment the Saudi F-15 was shot down over Marib.
