OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, Sept. 09 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces demolished the home of citizen Youssef Al-Rashq in the Al-Bustan neighborhood of Silwan, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, on Wednesday.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that occupation forces stormed the house, emptied its contents, and severely beat Youssef during the demolition. The 120-square-meter house was home to Al-Rashq, his wife, his child, his parents, and six of his brothers.
The house was built in 2004, and the occupation municipality began notifying him of the demolition and imposing fines on him since 2008 under the pretext of “building without a permit.”
The bulldozers’ incursion into the Al-Bustan neighborhood also caused traffic jams coinciding with students heading to their schools.
