Former Palestinian detainee dies from Israeli strike injuries in Gaza

GAZA, Sept. 08 (YPA) – A Palestinian man died on Tuesday from wounds sustained in an Israeli strike in the Gaza Strip, Palestinian sources reported.

According to the sources, Ramzi Abu Rida, a former Palestinian detainee in Israeli jails, has died from wounds sustained in an Israeli strike several days ago in southern Gaza.

Israeli aircraft struck Abu Rida as he was heading to Friday prayers, leaving him critically wounded. He was taken to hospital but later succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday.

Abu Rida spent 15 years in Israeli prisons before being released in June 2022.
