New tremor measuring 2.9 on Richter scale strikes Yemen

DHAMAR, Sept. 04 (YPA) – The Seismological and Volcanological Observatory Center in Yemen recorded a minor quake on Friday northwest of Ma’bar in Dhamar Governorate, south of Sanaa.

The center reported that the 2.9-magnitude tremor occurred at 11:17 a.m. local time at a depth of three kilometers.
