Saudi Arabia expels senior figure close to Tariq Saleh

RIYADH, Aug. 31 (YPA) – Saudi authorities have ordered Kamil al-Khodani, a prominent figure close to Tareq Saleh, a member of Saudi-backed “Presidential Leadership Council” (PLC), to leave the kingdom following internal political friction.

Kamel Al-Khodani, a leading figure in the so-called National Resistance, said in a post on X that Saudi authorities had ordered him to leave Saudi Arabia following a complaint filed by the Saudi-backed government’s prime minister at the request of its so-called Information Minister, Moammar Al-Eryani.

Al-Khodani said he had left Riyadh, expressing regret over the decision and suggesting that it was linked to his repeated criticism of the Saudi-backed government.

“They want slaves, not men,” he said.
