Zionist forces continue ceasefire violations in southern Lebanon

BEIRUT, Aug. 31 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces continued violating the ceasefire in southern Lebanon on Monday, conducting artillery and airstrikes as well as detonating buildings and in several areas.

Lebanese sources reported that Israeli warplanes carried out two airstrikes on the Doha Kfar Rumman area and another on the town of Zawtar Al-Sharqiyah.

The sources said Israeli artillery shelled the town of Al-Mansouri in the Tyre District, while several people were injured when a cluster bomb left behind by the Israeli aggression exploded in the town of Haboush.

In Houla, Israeli occupation forces conducted massive demolitions of several residents’ homes and a new bombing in the area between the two towns of Arnoun and Kfartebnit.

The attacks come amid continued “Israeli” operations across southern Lebanon, including artillery shelling, airstrikes, drone activity, the burning of agricultural land, and the demolition of homes and infrastructure, in violation of the ceasefire agreement.
