TEHRAN, Aug. 28 YPA) – Iran’s military officials said on Friday that his country’s armed forces are preparing new military capabilities and tactical measures that could be revealed in any future conflict with its adversaries.
In a statement, the Iranian Defense Ministry spokesperson Brig. Gen. Reza Talaei said weapons, technological and tactical surprises had been prepared based on the principle of surprise, adding that their impact would become evident on the battlefield.

Talaei told Iran’s official news agency that some countries have begun copying Iranian defense products through reverse engineering.
He said the current government had faced highly sensitive circumstances over the past two years, including two wars, what he referred to as the January armed unrest, and rapidly evolving developments in the region and inside Iran.
Talaei said Iran had faced an unequal and unbalanced confrontation during recent conflicts, citing the scale and speed of attacks and the use of regional bases and capabilities by the United States and Israel. Despite this, he said, the adversary had failed to achieve its objectives despite making extensive use of available military and non-military capabilities.
He added that Iranian commanders had prepared the military surprises while maintaining operational secrecy and protecting sensitive defense information, saying similar surprises had already appeared on the battlefield during recent wars.
From his part, acting Iranian Defense Minister Brig. Gen. Seyyed Majid Ibn al-Reza also said Iran would reveal its military capabilities at the appropriate time.

“We should not talk about the surprises now,” he said in remarks cited by Tasnim, adding that Iran’s scientists, young people and defense industries were working on projects that would, God willing, produce significant new capabilities.
He concluded by warning that Iran’s adversaries would discover these capabilities “at the right time.”
