Tribal gunmen open fire on UAE-backed militiaman in Shabwa

SHABWA, Aug. 9 (YPA) – Tribal gunmen on Thursday opened fire on a militiaman belonging to the so-called ” Noukhba Shabwani” in Shabwa province and injured him.

This happened after the gunmen refused to deliver his personal weapons to checkpoint in Musina area, the correspondent of Yemen Press Agency said.
Nukhba Shabwani launched these days a campaign to stop spread of gunmen loyal to Saudi-backed resigned Hadi and Islah party elements ” Yemen’s Muslim brotherhood” in the the city of Atak, the capital provincial city of shabwa.
