Saudi artillery attack targets Saada populated areas

SAADA, Aug. 16 (YPA) – Saudi Arabia has continued its attacks on Yemen’s border areas, targeting populated areas in Saada province in northern Yemen.

A security source in the province said on Sunday Saudi forces shelled residential villages in the border district of Razih with artillery.

On Saturday, the area of Bani Sayyah in the same district was subjected to intense Saudi rocket and artillery bombardment, causing material damage to citizens’ farms. Artillery shelling was also reported in the border district of Al-Dhahir.

Yemen’s border areas in Saada province have witnessed near-daily Saudi attacks involving rocket and artillery fire, resulting in dozens of casualties and significant damage to citizens’ homes and property.
