Saudi-backed forces shell residential areas in Taiz

TAIZ, Aug. 15 (YPA) –  Saudi-backed forces continued their attacks on populated areas in Yemen’s Taiz province on Saturday, local sources said.

According to the sources, the Saudi-backed forces fired several artillery shells at residential villages in the Al-Arouq and Al-Aabous areas of Hayfan district.

The attacks reportedly caused damage to civilian property, disrupted public safety and threatened the lives of residents.
