Domestic gas crisis continues in Aden for the third week

ADEN, Aug. 09 (YPA) – The domestic gas crisis continues in Aden and several other governorates for the third week in a row, amid escalating complaints from citizens about the difficulty of obtaining gas cylinders and their high prices on the black market.

Local sources reported that the crisis coincided with a shortage of vehicle fuel, which directly affected transportation and daily life, in the absence of the Saudi-backed government.

The sources explained that this crisis differs from previous temporary ones, as the disruption in gas availability has become a recurring problem in recent months, increasing the suffering of families, especially with the decline in purchasing power, delayed salaries, rising prices of basic commodities, and lack of services, especially electricity, during the summer season.
