Tribal mobilization call in Hadramout after raid on tribal sheikh’s residence by “emergency forces”

HADRAMOUT, Aug. 02 (YPA) – Hadramout Governorate has witnessed a surge in security and tribal tensions following a call issued by the paramount Sheikh of the Kenda tribes, Ali bin Haftan Al-Say’ari, for a comprehensive tribal mobilization (Nakef) against Saudi-backed “emergency” factions.

The escalation comes after forces raided his residence in the Al-Abar district and looted its contents, coinciding with the arrest of several suspects linked to the assassination of Osama Al-Radfani, a commander in the Saudi-funded “Dera Al-Watan” forces.

Local sources reported that members of the Kenda tribes have begun arriving from various areas of the Hadramout Valley in response to the call. This occurs amidst heightened tension and severe friction in the governorate, coinciding with the detention of the head of the “Hadramout Tribal Alliance”, Amr bin Habrish, by Saudi authorities.
