Gaza death toll rises to 73,356 amid ongoing Israeli aggression, health ministry reports

GAZA, Aug. 02 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Sunday that the casualties from the Israeli occupation aggression have risen to 73,356 fatalities and 174,185 injured since October 7, 2023.

In its daily statistical report regarding the casualties of the Israeli occupation attack on the Strip, the ministry confirmed that hospitals in Gaza received 7 dead bodies—comprising 6 new deaths and 1 individual who succumbed to previous injured—along with 23 wounded persons over the past 24 hours.

The Palestinian Health Ministry further revealed that the total casualties recorded since the ceasefire took effect on October 11 have reached 1,230 deaths and 4,076 injured, alongside 804 recovered bodies.

“A number of victims remain trapped under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews continue to be unable to reach them up to this moment,” the ministry stated.
