Israeli enemy patrol penetrates Daraa countryside in Syria

DAMASCUS, Aug. 01 (YPA) – An Israeli military patrol consisting of six vehicles infiltrated, on Saturday morning, through the Kafr Lama gate towards the Wadi al-Raqad area in the western countryside of Daraa, southern Syria.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that three vehicles from the force set up a temporary military checkpoint on the Wadi al-Raqad bridge, while the other three positioned themselves on top of the bridge to secure the area.

The force then advanced towards an inhabited house and remained there for a few minutes.

The Observatory added that the patrol later withdrew from Wadi al-Raqad to the occupied territories via the Tel Abu al-Ghithar gate, without any arrests or raids against the residents being recorded.
