Ansarullah condemns ‘cowardly’ US-Saudi aggression on Iraq, backs response

SANAA, July 29 (YPA) –  The Political Bureau of Ansarullah’s condemned a joint US-Saudi attack on Iraq, expressing Yemen’s full solidarity with the Iraqi people and their resistance against the Zionist project in the region.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Political Bureau said the attack on Iraq was “criminal, cowardly, illegitimate, and in violation of all international laws and conventions.”

The statement described the attack as a “blatant assault on Iraq’s sovereignty and its people in all their components and orientations,” adding that it represented a continuation of “US arrogance and its Saudi tool’s policies toward the countries and peoples of the region in service of the Zionist project.”

The Political Bureau reaffirmed Iraq’s right—its government, army, people, and resistance—to respond to the attack, while reiterating the Yemeni people’s support for Iraq.

The movement also called on the United Nations to assume its responsibilities regarding US, Zionist, and Saudi aggression in the region.
