Zionist forces continue ceasefire violations across Gaza

GAZA, July 28 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces continued violating the Gaza ceasefire on Tuesday, carrying out artillery shelling, heavy gunfire, and demolition operations across several areas of the Gaza Strip.

In Rafah, Israeli military vehicles opened fire at Palestinian civilians in the al-Mawasi area west of the southern Gaza city.

Israeli forces also opened fire east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, while their artillery targeted areas south of the city.

In Gaza City, Israeli tanks shelled the al-Zeitoun neighborhood in the southeast of the city.

Three Palestinians were killed and others injured on Monday in Israeli strikes in Gaza City and the central Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health revealed that casualties recorded since the ceasefire agreement took effect on October 11 have reached 1,203 killed and 3,900 injured, alongside 803 bodies recovered.

The ministry added that the overall toll since the start of the Israeli offensive on October 7, 2023, has reached 73,329 Palestinians killed and 173,615 injured.
