Sanaa outlines key conditions to end conflict with Riyadh

SANAA, July 24 (YPA) – In a political move underscoring Sanaa’s position on ending the conflict with Riyadh, Abdul Malik Al-Ajri, a member of the Sanaa negotiating delegation, outlined two primary conditions to resolve the fallout of the war, directing a message to Saudi Arabia.

Writing on his official X account, Al-Ajri stated, “Saudi Arabia can spare itself the fallout of the crisis in Yemen under two conditions: declaring its withdrawal from Yemen, and providing compensation for rebuilding what was destroyed by the war.”

He added, “As long as it (Saudi Arabia) continues to occupy and control decision-making in the occupied governorates, manage national wealth, and impose a blockade on Yemen, it bears full responsibility before the Sanaa authority and the Yemeni people.”
