Sanaa Foreign Ministry warns Zionist entity against continued desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque
SANAA, July 23 (YPA) – The Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sanaa warned on Thursday the Zionist enemy entity against the continuous desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque by war criminals and herds of Zionist usurpers.
In an official statement, the ministry expressed its strong condemnation of the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque by thousands of usurpers today, stressing that this constitutes a flagrant violation of international law and the sanctity of the holy site, as well as a provocation to the feelings of more than two billion Muslims worldwide.
The statement emphasized that Al-Aqsa Mosque—the first of the two qiblas and the third of the two Holy Mosques—represents the holiest of sanctuaries, and that defending it and the Palestinian cause is a religious and moral duty for the Islamic nation, asserting that Israeli occupation plans are doomed to fail.
The Foreign Ministry also criticized the positions of Arab and Islamic countries for being limited to mere condemnation and denunciation, noting that this gives the Zionists a green light to continue their violations, at a time when the enemy entity continues to commit acts of genocide in Gaza Strip and the West Bank, alongside daily breaches of the ceasefire agreement.
The ministry concluded its statement by affirming that the cause of Palestine will remain the central issue of the nation and the primary priority for the Yemeni people, and that developments in the region will not divert attention away from it.
