SARAJEVO, July 12 (YPA) – The exhibition “Gaza: Timeline of Genocide” opened on Saturday in the Bosnian capital Sarajevo, featuring a collection of photographs documenting the humanitarian reality in the Gaza Strip during the Israeli aggression.
The exhibition is being held as part of the WARM Festival, which specializes in documenting conflicts and wars. It showcases photographs taken by photojournalist Ali Jadallah during his field coverage of events in Gaza, capturing the suffering of civilians and the devastation caused by the aggression.
The exhibition curator, Damir Sagolj, described Ali Jadallah as the photographer who has provided the most comprehensive and extensive documentation of what is happening in Gaza, stating that no photographer had previously documented a genocide with such directness.
Sagolj explained that the exhibition’s opening coincided with the anniversary of the 1995 Srebrenica genocide in Bosnia and Herzegovina, highlighting the importance of connecting human tragedies and preserving their documentation and collective memory.
