Sanaa says US-Israeli aggression against Iran is bound to fail, confirms alignment with resistance axis

SANAA, July 12 (YPA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in Sanaa issued a statement on Saturday declaring that ongoing joint US-Israeli military operations targeting the Islamic Republic of Iran are bound to fail.

The ministry emphasized that the Iranian people, alongside their political leadership, armed forces, and state institutions, maintain the resilience required to uphold national sovereignty.

According to the statement, persistent regional attacks will ultimately backfire on the originating actors, their regional partners, and the stability of the global economy. The ministry defended Iran’s full legal entitlement to self-defense under international frameworks, explicitly validating potential retaliatory actions against US military bases and strategic assets across the Middle East.

The diplomatic communication warned regional states against aligning their security policies with Israeli strategic objectives, asserting that such alignments carry severe long-term risks.

Concluding the official dispatch, the Sanaa-based ministry reaffirmed Yemen’s strategic alignment within the broader regional resistance axis. It confirmed that comprehensive logistical and operational coordination with Tehran remains active, noting that both parties retain a wide array of retaliatory measures should regional military developments necessitate their deployment.
