Lebanon: Israeli drone strike targets vehicle and artillery shelling hits Deir Siryan

BEIRUT, July 10 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces continued violating the ceasefire in Lebanon on Friday, carrying out a two-wave strike targeting a vehicle on the road near the town of Kfar Roumman, according to the state-run National News Agency (NNA).

Separately, Israeli artillery shelled the town of Deir Siryan in the Marjayoun district, while an Israeli drone dropped a stun grenade over the town of Mansouri in the Tyre district.

Since March 2, the Israeli occupation has intensified its military operations across Lebanon, targeting towns, villages, cities, and civilian infrastructure. The attacks have reportedly killed hundreds of people, wounded thousands more, and displaced nearly 1.5 million Lebanese residents, most of whom remain outside official shelter centers.

On June 18, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that the United States and Iran had electronically signed a memorandum of understanding establishing a ceasefire across all fronts, including Lebanon. Despite the agreement, Israeli forces have continued to carry out daily ceasefire violations.
