“Loyalty to the Resistance”: Framework agreement with occupation harms Lebanon’s interests and cannot be implemented

BEIRUT, July 09 (YPA) – The Loyalty to the Resistance bloc affirmed that the framework agreement signed between the Lebanese authorities and the Israeli occupation has harmed Lebanon’s strategic and vital interests.

In a statement, the bloc considered that the security annex of the agreement included dangerous new clauses, prompting even forces and figures that had remained silent to declare their reservations.

It stressed that the Lebanese authorities are called upon to retract the policies they have adopted against the country and its people, emphasizing that “the roadmap is now clear” for addressing this issue.

The bloc reiterated its assertion that the agreement is imposed unilaterally and cannot be implemented, given its lack of basis at the charter, constitutional, and legal levels.
