6 Zionist military incursions and attacks in southern Syria since beginning of July

DAMASCUS, July 07 (YPA) – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented a significant escalation in Israeli military movements and attacks inside Syrian territory during the first week of July, consisting of six ground incursions and heavy artillery shelling.

In a report published on Tuesday, the Observatory stated that the attacks were concentrated in the Yarmouk Basin and the western Daraa countryside in southern Syria, and were accompanied by machine gun fire and intensive reconnaissance flights.

It noted that the southern Quneitra countryside also witnessed artillery shelling and repeated field movements by the Israeli occupation army.

The Observatory warned of the dangers of the continued Israeli incursions and violations of Syrian sovereignty and their catastrophic effects on the security and stability of the region and the lives of civilians.
