OCHA: Displacement escalates again in Gaza from areas near “Yellow Line”

GAZA, July 07 (YPA) – The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) reported on Tuesday that increasing numbers of Palestinian families in the Gaza Strip are being displaced again from areas along the “Yellow Line” as Israeli forces advance.

The office explained in a post on the X platform that these areas have become unsafe and are suffering from a severe shortage of basic services, reflecting the worsening humanitarian crisis in the Strip.

With American and European support, the Israeli occupation army has committed crimes of genocide, siege, and starvation in Gaza since October 7, 2023, resulting, as of Monday, in the deaths of 73,098 Palestinians and injuries to 173,571 others, the majority of whom are children and women, in a preliminary count, whereas thousands of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, unable to be recovered.
