Israeli ceasefire violations continue across the Gaza Strip

GAZA, July 07 (YPA) –  The Israeli occupation army continued its violations of the ceasefire agreement on its 271st day in various areas across the Gaza Strip, carrying out artillery shelling and opening fire in multiple areas across the enclave.

Israeli military vehicles shelled western Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, while Israeli naval vessels opened heavy fire off the coast of Khan Younis. The attacks coincided with low-altitude flights by Israeli drones over the city.

Israeli drones also dropped bombs near Bani Suheila roundabout, east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.

Israeli naval boats opened heavy fire in the waters off Khan Younis.

Artillery shells landed near Bank of Jerusalem on Salah Al-Din Street in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

Israeli military vehicles stationed northeast of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza opened fire toward tents housing displaced Palestinians.

According to the Ministry of Health in Gaza since the ceasefire began on 11 October, the total number of deaths has reached 1,072, in addition to 3,463 injuries, with 799 bodies recovered.

The total number of Palestinians killed since the start of the Israeli war on 7 October 2023 has reached 73,098, with 173,571 injured.
