Iranian commander warns US, Israeli entity against military action

TEHRAN, July 02 (YPA) – Commander of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbia Central Headquarters, Maj. Gen. Ali Abdollahi, said on Thursday that the Iranian armed forces are fully prepared to defend the country’s independence and sovereignty, warning the United States and Israeli occupation against any hostile action or strategic miscalculation toward Iran.

Abdollahi affirmed that Iran’s deterrence capabilities have been significantly strengthened through continued investment in its military and defense infrastructure, enabling the country to confront external threats and counter hostile plans.

He stressed that preserving the achievements of the Islamic Revolution, strengthening national defense capabilities, and maintaining national unity remain central to Iran’s security strategy.

The commander added that the Iranian armed forces remain fully committed to carrying out the directives of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and to maintaining a high level of military readiness to safeguard the country’s security and territorial integrity.

He concluded by warning that any military action by the United States or Israeli occupation against Iran would be met with a decisive response, asserting that Iran possesses the capability to defend its sovereignty against any external aggression.
