Israeli occupation grants Washington confiscated Palestinian land to build its embassy in Jerusalem

OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, July 01 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation and the United States signed an agreement on Wednesday granting Washington a plot of land in occupied Jerusalem that was owned by Palestinians, to establish the permanent headquarters of the US embassy.

The occupation’s Foreign Ministry stated that its minister, Gideon Sa’ar, and Washington’s ambassador to Tel Aviv, Mike Huckabee, signed the agreement in the presence of Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Lion, announcing the start of the embassy’s transfer from its current location to the new one.

The ministry explained that the agreement completes US President Donald Trump’s 2017 decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and move the embassy there, in a move to establish a permanent US presence on confiscated land.
