Palestinians injured in settler attack south of Hebron

HEBRON, June 28 (YPA) –Zionist settlers assaulted Palestinian residents in the Masafer Yatta region, south of Hebron, on Sunday, while others raised Israeli flags throughout the village of Umm al-Kheir.

Palestinian sources reported that a group of settlers stormed the vicinity of an inhabited home in the Wadi Al-Rakhim area in Masafer Yatta and attempted to break into the property.

The settlers also sprayed gas through the home’s windows, causing several members of the family inside to suffer from suffocation. They were treated at the scene.

In a separate incident, settlers erected Israeli flags along roads and around homes in the village of Umm al-Kheir, also located in Masafer Yatta, where they also provoked residents and physically assaulted several Palestinians.
