SANAA, June 27 (YPA) – Mohamed al-Fareh, a member of the Ansarallah movement’s political bureau, has accused Saudi Arabia of seeking to annex oil-rich Yemeni provinces—chiefly Jawf—into its territory.
Al-Fareh stated that Riyadh’s “conspiracies” in the region fall within this context, drawing parallels to its historical occupation of Asir, Najran, and Jizan, while emphasizing that Sanaa remains the sole obstacle to the execution of this project.
Furthermore, al-Fareh noted that Saudi Arabia’s reaction to the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council’s (STC) movements in Hadramout, Shabwa, and Mahra proves it treats these areas as its own property.
Warning against “naive individuals and mercenaries” who are paving the way for this expansionist plot, he urged all Yemenis in both the north and south to recognize this imminent danger.
Al-Fareh called for public alignment with the mobilization path initiated by “the Leader (Sayyed Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi),” describing it as the only guarantee for Yemen’s permanent liberation, while concluding that Saudi Arabia is an expansionist state feared by most Gulf states.
